Marchers in Stansbury Days Parade pay tribute to fallen firefighter Matthew Burchett




STANSBURY PARK, Utah Firefighters at the Stansbury Days Parade Saturday honored Draper Battalion Chief Matt Burchett by carrying a poster with his name and picture on it, along with the American flag. Strong winds hit the historic mining town of Helper as its Arts Music and Film Festival is underway.




HELPER, Utah A strong windstorm hit Helper, Utah early Saturday morning. The Helper Arts, Music and Film Festival began Friday and runs through Sunday. Price resident Brad Woodhouse took this cellphone video of the destruction around 2 a.m. and at that time, it looked like parts of the festival would have to be cancelled. Dramatic dash cam video shows moment deputy saves little girl from hot car

Postal worker finds huge 8-foot python lounging on Kansas mailbox




OVERLAND PARK, Kan. Apython lounging over an Overland Park mailbox was the talk of the neighborhood Friday. Eight-year-old Enoch boy killed in crash on Interstate 15 in Iron County




IRON COUNTY, Utah An eight-year-old boy was killed in a two-car collision on I-15 in southern Utah Saturday.
